Into the depths I plunge,
deeper and deeper I dig,
I dig into the depths of winter.
Falling in love with its chill,
its white veil is lifted,
its cold embrace brings chills rolling down my spine.
Oh how I miss those colder times,
when winter kissed my cheek,
brought presences and wrapped them in twine.
Such dreams of colder times,
sweat occasions of snow and twine.
As I loss my love for the sun,
winter stole mine
with a jingle and a rhyme.
Merry Christmas got me every time.
