Upkeep For The Dead

The flowers beckon,
with their sent of decay,
weathered are they
who grow in the day.

The grass beckon at my feet,
my sences want and wait
for the sun to worm my ghost.

The stone is baren but not alone,
for the dead keep good
company.

I am their keeper,
upkeep,
for the dead need company.
