Brick by brick
my wall’s began to stand taller,
stone by stone
my borders began to strengthen.

Weather beats its chest
as the winds blew
with a powerful breath.

Storms united
as oceans beat apon
the sands,
the shores moved
under the waves toe,
life bared its knife
cutting me with its strife.

My time maybe short
but life will remember
my name,
for never did I sit quietly
as life sat upon my chest.
instead, I bared my fangs and gritted my teeth, starred life in the face
as I made my way through;
through all the scars
and all its strife,
I lived my life
all the way through to
The end of the knife.
