After Drunkenness Came Sobber

Lips part,
empty touch upon cold skin,
blackness bleeds through too
you.

Lovely kisses
never lose meaning,
passion, nor warmth.

Yet the roses turn to ash
upon one touch
from my Gothic kiss.

Perfume fancied a dance,
a tip from my drunken cup
slowly saturates the neurons
in your brain.

Darkness sank into a sobering slope,
slouching over the bar,
Whispering his goodbyes
with a throbbing headache.

Sober up!
