Weeping Willow Tree

There once was a time,
of a never ending dream.
Clouded by memories of long ago,
forgotten by the passing of time.
Shrouded in mystery,
and shadow’s lost in time,
there stand’s a barren
and dying tree.
It once grew fruit,
lively as can be,
now it bears its root’s
for all to see.

Sad,
poor forgotten tree,
lonely,
weary,
clinging desperately to life.

Such suffering,
pain,
and strife.
The Weeping Willow Tree
weeps for thee.
