Time Is A Measurement

Time is the expansion of space,
it grows by a millimeter of a second.

Wooing the universe
into a tango of two.
Measured by it’s greedy intake,
of ticking clocks,
mounted on our walls.

Space remembers all,
it records our footfalls.

This web we call existence,
has a massive distance in between
life and death
We fall right on its borders.
