Silent Solitude & The Wise Old Owl

Silent Solitude

Be silent in your solitude,
which is not loneliness,
for how can you be lonely
if your shadow is always behind you?

Lesson well,
to the whispering willows
and the screeching owl.
Wised of creatures
perched in your mind,
lesson, lesson now.

Who? Who are you?

Who are you going to be?

I ask you 1,2,3
Who? Who are you?

Who are you going to be?

The Wise Old Owl

The owl is never lonely,
he has many friend’s;
his friend, the willow tree,
his buddy, the Bee,
his company, the blue bird’s,
his musical friend’s, the canary’s,
his nightly sonata, the moon and the star’s,
his coldest friend, the wind from the north.

All share in the night,
a chat and a goodnight.
